So.......it's been too long since I have updated this. Obviously the kids have gotten pretty big!
Mia is 5 1/2 months old now! I know!
*She is about 20 lbs
*she wears mostly 12 month clothes
*she has almost mastered sitting alone
*she eats veggies everyday
*we can see her little two bottom teeth through her gums...not through yet, but won't be long
*she is developing great eye-hand coordination and fine motor skills.....grabbing and playing with toys and our faces
*everything she can get her little pudgy fingers on, goes in her mouth
*we brought her up to children's hospital to see a respiratory specialist b/c she had a cough for about 4 1/2 months (pretty much all her life) and they did a swallow study and upper GI test on her and figured out that when she drinks formula, it is too thin of a liquid and some goes back into her airways causing a chronic cough. So, we are now adding cereal to all her bottles to make sure it is thick enough to go down the right tube. So wonderful that she is finally got some answers and she is feeling better and not irritated by this cough. She is a really good girl
*she loves to scream......which then gavin seems to think he needs to scream too causing our house to be pretty loud and crazy
*she sleeps in her crib in her and Gavin's room
*when she is on her tummy, she can push herself up so her arms are straight and holding herself up but when she tries to tuck her knees, her knees go up and her arms fall
* she got her toes painted for the first time last week
*now, loves to watch gavin and loves when he gets really close and in her face. He makes her laugh and smile all the time
GAVIN GAVIN the terrible (but wonderful) TWO's
*favorite food now I think is spaghetti
*weighs 30 lbs
*he really loves MIA! Wants to do whatever she is doing like sitting up on a blanket, or laying on the floor. He lays next to her and says "cheese" cause he wants me to take their picture
*he asks "what you doin" all the time and when I answer him, he says "me too" and wants to do whatever I am doing
*He loves to wear sunglasses
*my favorite thing that he is doing now is using his imagination. He pretends to be a puppy and will get down on the ground, pant, bark and crawl around. It is soooo cute!
*He is starting to get into more movies......he loves to watch "cars"....."home on the range"......chicken little"........"brother bear"........"open season"......
*He still makes his "eeeeeerrrrrrr" sound to put himself to sleep-he has done it since he was about 6 months old.......it seems like it puts Mia to sleep too :)
*He is in a real loving books stage again, he even wants to sleep with them
*favorite thing to do is still to go on a tractor ride and play outside
Looking forward to summer vacation and seeing family and friends!! We are also in the process of getting our house on the market! BIG STEP :)

When he woke up, he was sooooo excited to see all the balloons and then he understood that "today was his birthday". Dad put him in his crib and filled the balloons in there so he could hit them all out
