Well, Gavin took his first trip over the 4th. We got all packed up and headed up north to Pennington (close to Bemiji). It is a 5 hour trip and we made it in about 6. Gavin was awesome on the ride up! We only stopped 2 times to feed him and play a little. We stayed for 1 whole week! I know, packing was crazy, I started 4 days before we left! Who knew that such a little guy could need soooo much stuff!!! Through the week, we tanned, drank, fished and just totally relaxed! It was so nice!! Jason's parents and brothers were up there along with the Valek, Pommerening, Frandrup and Ashton families. Gavin was definitely not neglected one little minute the entire time. He loved it that he was held every minute of every day! The ride home was pretty good too! We stopped 3 times for feeding and play, so it was pretty easy! What a great first trip!!!!!
